Compro Renewable Energy Ltd Announces New Leadership Team

Over the last 5 years Compro has grown successfully from humble beginnings around Chris Sayer’s dining room table to a ~£30m turnover, ~110 employee business in 2024. This has been achieved by a combination of acquisition and organic growth to deliver a diversified integrated renewable energy group across Heat Pumps, Solar PV, micro-Wind Turbines, MVHR and other technology. The group plans to expand further in the growing renewable energy sector over the next few years, by both organic growth and acquisition.

To that end, we are delighted to welcome Adam Westcott and Tom Griffin to the group.

Adam joins us as Group Finance Director, based in Corby. Adam will concentrate on developing our financial and funding structure, and fully delivering the MS Dynamics Business Central ERP system. Adam was previously CFO of Pulsiv Ltd, the innovative Solar PV power management company. Adam has extensive business finance and M+A experience in the renewable energy sector, along with experience in equity fundraising, working as both an investment banker and a CFO raising funds for both public and private companies, including leading multiple IPOs. He holds a degree in Engineering from Oxford and is a CIMA qualified accountant; he currently drive a Russian army jeep, having repaired it and driven it back from Kazakhstan via Iran.

Tom joins Compro 13 May as Chief Operating Officer, initially based in our IsoEnergy Horley office. Tom comes to Compro after ten years founding and leading CorEnergy Ltd through exponential growth in renewable energy solutions design and install, up to a successful acquisition by SureServe, the AIM listed utility company. Before founding CorEnergy, Tom was Commercial Director at ASC Renewables in Manchester where he led its strategy to develop large scale onshore wind projects, and Finance Controller at Greencore plc in the US. Tom is a qualified accountant and is a keen skier, swimmer and loves travel, music and red wine.

The founders of Compro, Peter Davies and Chris Sayer, will progressively step down from daily management of the business but will continue to be directors of the group.
