What does the Solar iBoost+ do?
The Solar iBoost+ is a Solar Power diverter that diverts surplus solar energy into your hot water cylinder, turning unused solar power into “free” hot water.
It helps reduce energy bills and makes the most of your home’s solar generation.
What does the HPI do?
The Solar iBoost Heat Pump Interface (HPI) enables solar diversion when using an air source heat pump for hot water. It allows the heat pump and Solar iBoost + to work independently while safely sharing the immersion, with smart switching for seamless control.
How do they work together with the cylinders?
UK Cylinders’ PV Priority Heat Pump cylinders are factory-fitted and pre-wired with the Solar iBoost+ and Heat Pump Interface to maximise “free” hot water from solar PV, enabling diversion to work independently, efficiently, and without system conflict.
