A Hot Water Association study shows that 57% of a home’s water heating can be covered simply by diverting excess solar PV generation at the property. The study just released is the first of its kind, matching the profile of residential hot water usage with an assumption of 50% excess pv power generation that would otherwise be exported to the national grid.
