Technical Sales Manager
Due to the continuing expansion of the business, Marlec are recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager. The role is to grow sales of our off grid solutions into the Highways, Rail, Utilities, Marine and leisure sectors. The ideal candidate will already have extensive Sales experience in a renewables business and have a thorough knowledge of Solar and/or Micro Wind turbines.
Primary responsibilities will include developing relationships with Key customers working on off grid projects in the Highways, Rail and Utilities sectors. The successful candidate will be targeted to increase our customer base in these areas and to grow the business with a number of key accounts in these sectors too. Attendance and manning exhibition stands will also be a key part of the role as well as site visits and technical assessment of what is required for a bespoke and reliable solar and wind renewable power solution to meet our customer’s needs.
Marlec is part of a growing group of companies in the renewable sector and this role will also include liaising with colleagues in other Opco’s to identify opportunities for the wider group. This will require the successful candidate to have a collaborative working style and the ability to “think outside the box”.
