Balance of System
Components:
We recommend deep cycle lead acid batteries,
sealed or non-sealed of a capacity up
to 300Ah 12V or 150Ah 24V.
Cable thickness depends on the overall
length used between the windcharger
and regulator/battery. For distances
up to 20m a cable thickness of 2.5mm
is recommended. The regulator should
always be positioned within a 1.5m cable
run from the battery to minimise voltage
losses and ensure accuracy of voltage
regulation.
