This is Marlec’s own design and manufacture of low energy high output lamps which are ideal for saving energy in renewable energy systems. Using the latest electronic technology Marlec have brought a new standard of performance to 12v lighting. Leisurelights use high efficiency lamps saving on power whilst giving illumination similar to the quality achieved with 110V/230V fittings. Two types are available:

2D Fluorescent Lamps

· Built-in electronic inverter allow this mains type tube to operate from a 12v supply
· Illumination levels similar to 100W incandescent bulb
· Draws less than 12w of energy per hour
· Long life 2D tube lasts up to 5 times longer than incandescent bulbs
· Warm bright quality light
· Available in 3 designs, 2 for surface mount and 1 for recess fitting
· Electronic inverter is reverse polarity protected
· Integral switch in most designs
· Meets all current relevant standards for electromagnetic compatibility-no radiated interference
· Tests of similar lamps have shown that Leisurelights, using only the Marlec inverter and the 2D tube, give 30% more light and consume approximately 30% less power

Halogen Bulb Lamps

· 12v Halogen bulb
· Draws just 10w of energy
· Illumination similar to 60w incandescent bulb
· Surface mount with integral switch
· Supplied in Brass fitting with white lens, red lens optional.

Leisurelights are suitable for wall or ceiling mount in the home, caravan, boat, farm buildings, sheds, commercial vehicles, security or emergency lighting or any application where power is at a premium.
